Very limited menu on Sunday - which wasnt noted online, but what was produced was very nice. The dining chairs were not very comfortable, though.

I can only rate the food as I stayed in the ihg next door. So the pub is ok and the staff are friendly. My starter was pretty good (pork belly bites). My main course was fish and chips. Both the fish and the chips were really well cooked....however, the fish has a slight smell of amonia.. my guess us that it was 4+ days old.. I only ate a bit and left the rest... just as well the starter was big! Can't say that I would recommend this pub.

Really didn’t expect much of this but Spanish led food offer was really good. Asked the server what was good: Paella. It was really nice for pub food.

Fawlty Towers. Comes to mind disappointing stay management and staff have alot to learn to improve the customer experience. 🙄

Nice pub grub, price about right. Family visit, kids used the pool table. For a quick pub meal it was spot on.

Turned up at 8:50AM to get breakfast which was advertised as 7AM - 10AM at the weekend. We turned up and were ignored at first and then told to wait and then by the time someone came back they said we shut at 9 which isn’t what was advertised. Very disappointing!!

Having read the reviews I was not sure about coming in here. Staying at Holiday Inn so it was the easy option (long drive) I must say it's been really good evening. Couldn't fault it. Great, friendly welcome by the owner. Helpful and tries to please. Wine was really well priced and the food was genuinely good. Give the new owners a chance to prove themselves 👍👍

Visited last night for a meal with my husband and child, I was a bit skeptical due to the reviews but was pleasantly surprised due to new owners. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable by Brett, His customer skills are amazing and I'm certain he could change any negative reviews from previous customers due to the old owners if those customers returned. We were reminded to register our number plate for the parking and signs are now clearly in place to ensure no one gets fined. With the previous owners I believe this was a big issue and has been easily rectified. Portion sizes were generous and the fish was easily the best fish I've ever tried. The pub soon filled up so would recommend booking, Brett interacted with every table constantly making people laugh and engaging well, making the atmosphere really relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. Overall a much needed lovely evening. Thank you!

Used to be a nice pub until the hotel development. Now it is bland and very overpriced.

Below average, horrendously overpriced wine. Can’t imagine anyone other than the odd stranded commuter and business away day groups frequent this place normally.

We paid £17.50 for two medium glasses of extremely mediocre wine. Staff were polite and the place was clean but that doesn’t make up for it!

The food was only a 3 for me, the sirloin steak was a bit on the gristly side, the salad undressed & they haven't heard of French mustard. I was surprised that they took payment instantly on the wrong card which proved problematic when I checked out the next day & added a 10% charge which I was unaware of. So £30 for an average sirloin steak with a pineapple juice.
